Colin comes from a family that knows the importance of organized labor and the dignity of working people, and it is his passion to do whatever he can to support and protect those causes. Colin joined the Firm after graduating from DePaul University College of Law in 2015, and is thrilled to be able to work with his father and his cousin at the firm where his grandfather practiced law for almost four decades.
Colin assists the Firm’s ERISA benefit fund and public pension fund clients in many areas of plan design and governance, including drafting plan documents and fund policies, subrogation matters, negotiation of vendor contracts, and in state and federal court litigation. Colin also represents labor unions and individual employees in a variety of matters, including federal court litigation under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and other federal and state employment-related laws.
Colin spends most of his free time going out with his girlfriend Whitney, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends and family, or reading books and comic books while his miniature poodle, Nell, sits on his lap (whether he wants her there or not).
